Dr. Casey's Frankincense & Myrrh Oil

Dr. Casey's Frankincense & Myrrh Oil is frankincense and myrrh resins infused in castor and jojoba — two resins families have reached for for thousands of years. They are traditionally used on the skin for their grounding scent and to support smooth, healthy-looking skin. External use only.

Research suggests frankincense resin triterpene acids have anti-inflammatory activity in laboratory models (Banno N et al., Journal of Ethnopharmacology, 2006; PMID 16621377). A later study looked at frankincense and myrrh together and found the combination was also active in those models (Su S et al., Journal of Ethnopharmacology, 2012; PMID 22178177). That is lab research, not a promise about this bottle.
