Yarrow, her words not a clinic order
Rosemary Gladstar talks about yarrow for stomach and menstrual cramps, and for colds, flu, and fever. She calls it her top herb when bleeding won’t stop, and she describes a pinch of dried leaf powder on a heavy wound or a nosebleed. For a mounting fever she tells a strong tea of leaves and flowers, about a quarter cup often over a few hours — she says that sweats a fever down without wiping it out, because she says fever is part of how the body deals with illness. Her habit, not a clinic order. Not medical advice. Does not replace your doctor.
